Alex Davidson - PhD Student and insect expert of the lab
I am a PhD student in the psychology department of the School of Biological and Behavioral Sciences (SBBS) at Queen Mary University of London.
My project is on time processing in bees. I am researching the capability of bees to use temporal signals such as duration, order and pattern of events to inform their behaviour. My supervisors are Dr. Elisabetta Versace and Prof. Lars Chittka.
I have a BSc in Zoology and I am interested in animal cognition, sentience, consciousness and evolution. I am also a Super Mario Kart champion.
My PhD is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC)
