Robyn Roach - Research project student fascinated by gravity (top-down) and laterelisation (left-right)

I am a PhD student studying neuroethology in the Prepared Minds Lab within the Behavioural Sciences Unit of Queen Mary University of London. I previously completed an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, also at Queen Mary.

My research interests encompass sensory and perceptual neural processing, as well as early cognition and learning, which align with my PhD project: exploring the cognitive processes underlying the domestic chick’s perception of gravity and projectile motion.

Outside of academia, I love travelling, cultivating my indoor plants and baking!
